Required disclosures in New Jersey
What New Jersey law says a residential landlord has to tell the tenant, each with the statute it comes from. Federal rules and some city ordinances can add more.
Flood Risk notice (separate rider)
Before signing/renewal, written notice whether property is in FEMA 100-year or 500-year floodplain and any known flooding; separate signed rider, 12-point type; plus NFIP renter's insurance notice in every lease.
Truth in Renting statement
Landlord must give each new tenant a copy of the DCA Truth in Renting statement at or before occupancy and keep it posted (buildings with more than 2 units, non-owner-occupied).

At creation of a new tenancy, landlord must provide each tenant a copy of the filed landlord registration certificate (owner, agent, superintendent contact info).
